Overview
In service to our advocacy efforts, we conduct rigorous research. Simply put, what gets measured gets changed. Before we can advance policy reform, we first must understand the issues at hand. As we complete our studies, we convene senior corporate and government leaders around the findings and resultant recommendations for removing barriers to work for women.
Research studies
Published in 2024, Clearing the Path: The Business Case for Child Care examines the significant role women play in Alabama’s economy and the opportunity for substantial economic growth if we can address the barriers that prevent the full participation of women in Alabama’s workforce.
2020 report
Status of Women in Alabama (2020) is a first-of-its-kind report on challenges and solutions facing Alabama’s women. By examining statewide and county-by-county wellbeing indicators for women, it serves as an important benchmark on the issues most impacting them
