Women’s Foundation of Alabama Celebrates 30 Years

ALABAMA — Women’s Foundation of Alabama is celebrating 30 years of impact, progress, and possibility in 2026, marking three decades of advancing economic opportunity for women and strengthening families and communities across the state.

For 30 years, Women’s Foundation of Alabama has carried a clear belief: when women have access to opportunity, resources, voice, and power, the entire state becomes stronger. Since its founding in 1996, that belief has shaped decades of research, advocacy, grantmaking, partnerships, and community investment designed to remove barriers and expand what is possible for women across Alabama

Throughout 2026, Women’s Foundation of Alabama will commemorate its 30th anniversary through special events, stories, conversations, and opportunities to celebrate the people, partnerships, and progress that have shaped the Foundation’s legacy. The anniversary year will also look forward, inviting communities across Alabama to help imagine and invest in a future where every woman has the opportunity to thrive.
